WELCOME to Nina Ferrara, our new online boutique and mail order fashion web site dedicated to offering a stylish and glamorous collection of Italian styled designer couture fashions for sizes 14-26. Welcome also, to a brand new, exciting world of flattering and individual clothing that will help you make the most of your unique shape and size

From the privacy of our design studio and workroom based in the UK, we are a small fashion design studio, producing an exclusive label for Plus Sizes. We only ever produce very small quantities in each collection and do not supply other shops or retailers so nothing is mass produced. We source the most beautiful fabrics most of which come from Italy, London, Paris & Europe making our garments extremely special. Often they are one offs out of collection of perhaps only a handful ever being produced from the same fabric. We only buy our Italian fabrics in bolts of 15 - 20 metres out of which we may produce just 6-8 garments making them very unique and limited in production. This means you are guaranteed an absolutely unique wardrobe piece.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Nina Ferrara is owned by fashion designer & stylist Nadine (also known as Nina). Her ambition to create a label that is stylish, glamorous and sophisticated has been such a success that many of her designs never make it onto the web site. She has clients all over the world who buy straight from a photograph emailed direct to their inbox. She started her business 5 years ago designing fashions for those curvier women who found themselves outside the main stream fashion industry because they were bigger than a size 12. Since then she has expanded her collections to include many new lines from basic wardrobe essentials to stunning evening wear. She works privately from her own studio producing new designs each season offering women of all shapes and sizes endless options on uniquely styled clothing. She often works with individual clients helping them understand their body shape and how to choose the best style for their shape and size. She also writes about fashion and style. Everything she designs is produced in the Nina Ferrara Studio guaranteeing fantastic quality and total exclusivity. Turning her back on offers to sell her clothing collections to other retail outlets and high street stores, she prefers to stay loyal to her own customers by keeping production limited in quantity and her designs exclusive

Because we are not factory based, our fashion designs are not mass produced. They are made to order in our own workroom meticulously styled with a properly tailored finish. You can always be sure of excellent quality with particular attention to detail and design not only in the quality of the fabrics but in the structure of the styling too.

All our fashions are designed and made with the consideration of a woman's lifestyle in mind. We've made sure that our sizing system is a true fit for the Western woman. A size 14 really is a size 14 (See our Sizing System page for a breakdown of measurements). We've taken into account how a woman's body can fluctuate in shape and size due to body fluid, weight fluctuation, monthly cycle, wellness and age, so we mostly use fabrics that have a stretch quality. As well as good styling and well chosen fabrics, comfort and flexibility have also been a high priority with flatteringly styled clothes designed to move and stretch with your body whilst keeping their shape and good looks.
With our styling for Plus Sizes, all our clothes have been designed to minimise your heavier angles.

Styled in complete colour co-ordinated collections, choosing either single garments or complete outfits could not be easier plus the versatility of our own fashion label means you can mix and match to create your own unique wardrobe. Not only is this web site an online workroom and fashion outlet for all sizes, it's also a source of guidance on how to identify your natural body shape then choose the right clothes for you as an individual. This will help you create your own flexible wardrobe of beautiful clothes easily and with more confidence about what kind of clothes suit your shape and size.

FLEXIBLE FIT OPTIONS.

We know women come in all shapes and sizes. But they also come in different heights too. For this reason we are pleased to offer a Flexible Fit Options service whereby you can choose to have the length of sleeves, jackets, tops, trousers and skirts made longer or shorter. When you place your order, just email us asking for our Flexible Fit service and we will contact you to discuss your needs. There is never an additional charge for adding or reducing the length of garments.
